At present, the concentration and recovery of waste sulfuric acid is one of the problems to be solved in many chemical process systems in China. On the one hand, in order to ensure the normal production, the waste sulfuric acid needs to be treated (sold or recycled), on the other hand, the environmental pollution and protection problems caused by this need to be solved. For enterprises with large output of waste sulfuric acid, they all have their own recovery systems. Generally, cast iron pot is used to concentrate waste acid by heating and evaporation. Because this recycling process is relatively backward, serious environmental pollution, energy consumption is also relatively large, has been eliminated.
Many chemical enterprises require that the concentration of waste acid should be 88% ~ 93%. Tantalum tube is used for heating, glass lining is used in the shell of concentrator, and steam heating is used. The temperature is 150 ~ 200 ℃. Due to the influence of heating temperature and the limitation of equipment material conditions, the concentration is more than 93%, so it is difficult to complete. Moreover, tantalum is very expensive, and there is erosion rate every year. A set of recovery device is more than several million yuan, and the recovery concentration is 90%. It is more difficult to concentrate 98% of waste sulfuric acid which is less than 10 tons per day.
On the basis of digesting and absorbing technologies at home and abroad, our company has launched a new complete set of waste sulfuric acid concentration plant according to the practical experience of more than 20 years. The concentrator is made of quartz glass with excellent corrosion resistance and chemical stability. 80% waste sulfuric acid is concentrated to 97-98% by one-step method, and the quality can reach the standard. In the second step, 20-35% waste acid is concentrated to 80% acid and returned to the raw material. The acid concentration of waste acid solution is less than 1%, and it is discharged after neutralization.
By using two effect distillation technology, the quality of recovered acid is improved, the energy saving effect is obvious, the resources are recycled, and the environmental pollution caused by waste acid is controlled. The new waste sulfuric acid concentration and recovery device has the advantages of small investment, small equipment area, simple operation, low labor intensity and long service time, which not only greatly improves the economic benefits of the enterprise, but also has more significant social benefits.
